Dough
- 500 g Sifted semi-coarse flour
- 250 ml Lukewarm milk
- 23 g Fresh yeast
- 50 g Granulated sugar
- 50 g Melted butter
- 1 tsp Granulated sugar
- 1 pcs Egg
- 0.5 tsp Salt
- 1 pcs Egg for brushing
Filling
- 1 Poppy seeds
- 1 Homemade jam
- 1 Quark
For the top
- 1 Powdered sugar

Steps
First, make a starter from 250 ml of milk, 23 g of fresh yeast and 1 tsp of sugar.
Let the starter rise and add it to 500 g of sifted semi-coarse flour, 1 egg, 1/2 tsp of salt and 50 g of melted butter.
Work the dough so that it is smooth.
Let the dough rise for about 30 minutes.
Then roll out the dough and cut circles with a glass.
Brush the circles with egg and add the filling (poppy seeds mixed with homemade jam + quark).
Let them rise for about 10 minutes.
Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for about 15-20 minutes (keep an eye on them).
You can brush the finished kolache with melted butter and dust them with powdered sugar.
